Made in Barão is a street performance that articulates sound , image and movement . The frog´s coaching was captured in a pond pool near Carrapateira and reproduced in the Stone studio . The image was created in the round house in a casual process in witch unconventional materials such as enamel paints and silk fabric were used . With the coordination of Nelda Magalhães and collaboration of friends , the performative dance started from the Central café and went along througth the main street to the church atrium . In this work , i value the repetition of the line , dash and dot , reaffirming and reclaiming the value of re-inviting space and time . Having drunk in so many sources , i got to know and investigate the essence of the symbolic and aesthetic conceptual values in a creative conjugation .
Made in Barão é uma performance de rua que articula som , imagem e movimento . O coaxar das rãs foi captado num charco na Carrapateira e reproduzido no estudio de Pedra . A imagem foi criada na Casa Redonda num processo livre de planos , em que foram utilizados materiais pouco convencionais , como tinta de esmalte sobre tecido sedoso . Com a cordenacão de Nelda Magalhães e colaboracão de amigos , a dança performativa teve inicio no Café Central e percorreu a rua principal até ao átrio da igreja . Nesta obra volorizo a repetição do traço e da forma pela qual reafirmo o valor de reivindicar o espaço e o tempo . Ao beber em tantas fontes que fui conhecendo e investigando , fico com a essencia de valores conceptuais , simbólicos e estéticos numa conjunção criativa .
São pinturas que são pensadas para nos aproximarmos , tocarmos , manipularmos e usarmos . Pretendem ser performativas . Preenchem a sua função não de forma contemplativa , mas pelo movimento .
These are paintings that were thougth to be approached by touch , to be manipulated and used we do like objects that are not art pieces . Claim to fulfill its function in a manner not contemplative but by movement . Susana Medeiros
